Station 5 - Jim Clayton Public Safety Building

When Sevier County installed sewer lines down Boyds Creek Highway, development took off. In order to keep up the department began looking for a site for another fire station. Jim Clayton, owner of Clayton Mobile Homes purchased 300 acres and began the construction of a mobile home community. With his development creating a largest fire load in this area, we approached him to donate one acre for the new station. Mr. Clayton saw the need for his development and the need of the community and leased the department the property to build Station 5. As development moves in this direction we have decided to build a large station to meet the growing needs of the Boyds Creek Community.
